... wie die dazugehörige WP-App ... Ich vermisse Metrotweet ...

Final Edit: SWITCHED TO TWEETIUM. Better app. Gleek Still keeps repeating the same notifications over and again. Emailed developer, he promised an update, nothing changed. Been a month. I'm done. Moving on to a different twitter app. Gleek is JUNK. EDIT: More than a year later and Gleek has improved, but remains flawed. One annoyance is that when you get a new follower, it announces it in an alert. Again. And again. And again. And again. Over and over it announces the same new follower ad infinitum. It's maddening. I use Gleek (the paid version, even!) on my Lumia 1020, and it's a phenomenal piece of work. Naturally, I expected the same quality craftsmanship on the Windows 8 version of the app. Unfortunately, it just isn't there. The app crashes a LOT, and about every 3rd or 4th crash, it loses all of my accounts. Suffice to say, that's frustrating as hell, and makes it difficult to recommend the app. I'll keep it installed and will update as the app evolves; I maintain high hopes.

This app does not show all of the replies to tweets, in fact it seems it seldom does. Did a side by side comparison with the Twitter site and it was missing most of the replies.

This app is easily the best. Has like 20 features other apps don't have...and looks the best, too! Trial worked great for me...I bought it!

What can I say be that on my L925 or my 2520 r my win 8 rig Glued is my go to Twitter app. Its constantly updated and improved simply the best. And there isn't just one but three twitter apps. Check them out.

This was a great app, but I have switched to Tweetium. Was waiting four months for a bugfix. App not updated to support 8.1 new features yet.

I used to be a big fan of Tweetro, but I realized that it was losing some tweets in my timeline. Gleek keeps my timeline in sync with other devices via Tweetmarker and lets you preview links in the app (if you want to). Gleek is the most customizable of all the twitter clients currently. Features I would like to see added would be images in the timeline and the ability to choose the text size/display more tweets.

If you leave any review other than a glowing recommendation, the developer will send you nasty emails. What a jerk I haven't used Gleek in over 2months, it is not working, it's stuck on tweets from to 10 months ago. It won't update. Ps, app works good on Win8, doesn't work on RT

Gleek is certainly feature rich, easily providing a more immersive Twitter experience than its competitors. It is also the most stable of the 3rd party offerings, many of which crash on my Surface RT. I'm still enjoying the trial at this point and recommend to anyone to give it a try. At this point, I haven't fully explored all the bells and whistles, the use-value of which will probably determine if I switch from the official app.

A couple of bugs remaining, and a few odd UI/UX choices, but they have been improving it with each release. And, above all, fantastic customer service

Why spend money for something that TweetDeck or Hootsuite can do FAR BETTER. The interface is awful. I want my money back

Love all their apps. Support the developers!

Gleek is the best twitter client for Windows 8/RT. Love all of Liquid Daffodil's work.

It works but can be slow and crashes a lot when trying to view links in the app.

Well not a big twitter app user on my desktop, but the snap mode is nice! All other additional features earn this app a 5 star.

I totally, TOTALLY LOVE this app...makes Twitter fun again! Didn't have any of the issues other's had...must be fixed now! Can't wait for their "Tweet Clouds" to come to this version.

Don't like the layout, basically starts and ends right there. wish I could get my money back. Used it for over a week and I'm looking for something better now. Update: I feel like its more responsive than it used to be. Not sure if this is the app itself or just a fixed problem with RT. That said I'll raise my review to two stars. Still alot of wasted space on the main page. Not sure what all the raving about this app is from. Its only okay, for the money its nothing more.

ATTN: Viet (and all Fans) YOU MUST SET YOUR TIME ZONE AND SYNCRONIZE YOUR TIME ON SURFACE prior to authenticating your Accounts. This is required by Twitter. Once you do this you will never "crash". Enjoy!

Installed it today on Surface, however after login, app keep crashing right after first login screen.

I bought the APP and it kept crashing on launch. I tired uninstalling the APP and It looks like they want me to pay for it again to reinstall. I don't think so.

Please add "Go to oldest new tweet" like in the WP8 version...

Buy this app. It is literally amazing. Tweetro really sucks compared to this. I had their free version and it stopped working when they pulled it from the Store and released the 10 dollar version with the same features. This is truly an amazing app and even Twitter could not release an app of this quality. My ONLY complaint is I should only have to purchase this app once and not twice if I want both the W8 AND WP8 versions.

Overall a great twitter client. Easily one of the best options out at the moment. Definitely the most feature packed. My only issue however is that it seems to get stuck when loading up my friends and followers. The app doesn't freeze; it just doesn't load all of them. Other than that though, phenomenal job and kudos to the developer

*Update 2: The latest update fixed the issue with personal twitter lists not updating. This is the most feature complete Twitter app for Windows 8, its simply the best. *Update: URL shortening now works! I still can't see the timeline on any of the Lists I've created, but I'm sure an update will fix it. This app is by far the best twitter client on the platform!*

Based on the other reviews, I was expecting something much better than the free offerings. I didn't get it. The UI is very laggy on a Surface. URLs in DMs are not clickable and the text is not selectable. There are numerous other small UI glitches. It seems to get slower the more you use it. After 15 minutes of clicking around, it is taking more than 2 seconds after each click for something to happen (memory leaks?).
