Kids ABC Trains Game
Features:
- Build the Railroad. This activity is a fun way for children to learn the name and the appearance of each letter in the alphabet.
- Drive the Train. Kids get to practice making their very own letters, both upper and lower cases, by carefully tracing the letter on a railroad track with their choice of train car.
- Garages with Surprises. Children are now tested to see if they can find the right letter. They need to open the correct garage, as their engine drives inside and pulls out a cargo car with a surprise.
- Phonics Cargo Train. This activity teaches children to identify correct letter sounds within the context of words. The child's task is to load the correct cargo boxes into the train.

This is a good game the only downfalls I see are the Letter X and Z. When you say the sound for X you say that it says X (the letter) instead of the sound. The Letter Z is named Zed, which can confuse kids. AND all the sounds end with the /a/ sound at the end which in reality is not there. The letter "T" says /t/ not "ta".

The tracing is good practice for writing. The reason I did not give 5 stars was because it call z "zed". That was confusing to the little one. And when you write the capital m the order is different than standard print.

Excellent game except that it is too hard to trace the letters for our three year old which gets him extremely frustrated. There should be an option to make the tracing easier.

I have a 7 yr. old with Autism and found this game to be very tranquilizing and fun for him,. We now play until he gets a token and stop for a while and then when I ask him if we should try again he happily goes to the computer. I recommend it because the colors and the actions are very well done and the voices are very clear...
