I like it but it seems like no matter how many times I check the box to remember my master password it constantly "forgets" it and I have to type it in over & over again.

...and user interface. Both the Android and Windows extensions work very well but this just is immature. Does not open sites when entry is clicked or tapped in the vault. Really disappointing.

First of all, consumers need to have some common sense, no offense. I have been using LastPass from Internet Explorer 11 and Google Chrome for over 3 years. This is an app through the Windows Marketplace, but you can also install it straight from the browser on your desktop. The key to this program is to make it easy to use hard to remember longer passwords with upper and lower case letters, and symbols. This is also a known fact for best security you NEVER use the same password for every website. They should all be different. Second, you create a hard to remember master password that you change every 90 days or less, especially due to the fact the internet has multiple people hacking and sending all kinds of junk on the internet. You should also change your regular passwords to all your websites at least every 90 days. This is common sense security, plus always use the most current version of Windows, and daily check for Windows updates, and for browser and internet security programs.
10 June 2015
When you check off "save password", the password is only saved for a few minutes unless you close the app after each time you use it.
3 June 2015
Pretty useless as it does not auto fill in modern apps. Looks terrible when snapped or resized
22 May 2015
I have this installed on a Surface Pro 3 and can't log in to my LastPass vault with Sesame multifactor security enabled. Sesame is set to allow mobile devices but no luck. Works fine as long as Sesame is disabled but that defeats the point of a premium membership and multi-factor authentication.
20 May 2015
every time I open the app it asks for my password and every time I tell it to remember it. never happens in other apps
15 May 2015
Other platforms work flawlessly. The windows 8 app often doesn't decrypt sites after a verified login, of which the only solution is to reinstall.
15 May 2015
I find that this app can be so much better than it currently is
15 May 2015
It sort of helps. I might as well just startup a web browser. It's easier to look up my info and copy paste. The Android version has a fill helper which is very handy. this B tedious and cumbersome.
9 May 2015
The application is no where near as polished as the iPhone/iPad equivalent. The remember password button only works in the current boot of windows. If you decide to restart the computer, it looses this setting. Frustrating as I do not get this issue on a PC or OSX at home
5 May 2015
I'm able to search - took me a while to find it though - add, remove, and edit sites. I don't touch the forms but maybe I start to take a look. The one thing I don't like is that you can't create folders. Even on the Android app you can't create folders.
26 March 2015
Updated my review from 2 to 5 stars. This app is extremely important to me; I use it every day without fail. It does exactly what I need it to do, and has ben very reliable ever since LastPass fixed the initial problem I had with it more than a year ago.
25 March 2015
After recent update minor issues were fixed
24 March 2015
Won't install.
24 March 2015
good stuff, only reason I left off one star is because it leaves room for improvement. keep it going!
9 March 2015
A waste of time. Crashes.
Hard to navigate, the import doesn't work for .CSV (even after closely following their confusing methodology).
Wants you to use Firefox. No support for Chrome.
22 February 2015
I work in the IT world, and I had my doubts at first about only having to remember one password, but that's almost exactly what this app does. You remember a "master password" which opens up your "vault" allowing you access to all of your logins.
There is also a LastPass extension for almost every web browser, allowing you to automatically autofill the username/password fields or even automatically log you in without pressing a button.
Another thing about LastPass: it will generate a random, extremely secure password for you, store it, and then will automatically either fill the fields for you, or log you in, without having to remember such a complex password.
18 February 2015
Lastpass is great because they keep on expanding the platforms they are available on. It's sweet! Update: Doesn't work if you have multifactor authentication turned on. Bummer...
2 February 2015
I use this app all the time, however, it constantly logs itself out or just crashes on reopening. They could do a lot better.
13 January 2015
Crashes every time I log back in after getting logged out for inactivity.
12 January 2015
I have multifactor authentication enabled and it will not let me login to my account thru this app. I have to resort to using Chrome extension. Thank god I have a Win 8.1 tablet (non RT).
LASTPASS, Fix this app!!!!!!!
7 January 2015
LastPass is inconsistent, sometimes not recognizing sites that have worked before. It is horrible with a Win 8.1 touchscreen as you can't copy username and passwords, which is often necessary. It does NOT work with apps on Android or Win 8.
18 December 2014
Like many other Windows 8 / WP8 apps, this one was half-assed. When logging in, no option for touch keyboard... Started off pretty bad for me.
10 December 2014
The app will not install even after resetting the PC. It is broken.
3 December 2014
Lastpass is great but the plugin for IE11 on Win 8.1 is terrible. All you can do is click on the websites that are stored in the vault. If you need to edit, add, or view anything, you have to open desktop mode. Needs more functionality in IE11 to be usable.
1 December 2014
But it keeps logging me out every once in awhile, even though I set it to remember the master password.
5 November 2014
For Surface RT, No Pin Code.
3 November 2014
This is nearly worthless when every time I try to use it, I have to enter my password-even though I have checked the Save Password box
31 October 2014
The app has a pretty setup and seems to work well with all the security you would expect from LastPass. The reason why this is not a 5 star app is because it is highly unstable. It doesn't take much to get the app to randomly close on you then create difficulties opening it again. It needs some love for sure.
As of 2014.10.30 still no update to fix the instability.
