MediaNest
MediaNest is an all-in-one media player. It can play audio, video and pictures with the unity user interface.
Besides being a player, MediaNest is a media controller, so MediaNest also can play the media file which is on local machine or media server to the media renderers in your local network.
Difference to other media controller, MediaNest can simultaneously play media file(s) to different renderers and monitor the status of each renderer individually.
You may use your Windows 8 NB/Tablet as a beautiful remote controller that can preview the media file, and play your selected files (playlist) to the large size TV and Hi-Fi speakers.

Streams movies/music from my wd cloud, saving space on my surface pro. You can stream single or multiple songs as well as create playlists. Creating playlists is a little tricky and the UI is not very intuitive. The UI keeps me from giving this app 5 stars.

This is probably one of the best dlna audio players on the Windows store. The only thing it needs to make it perfect is an EQ. If they add a customizable EQ that this will be a 5 star app.
