I really wish this software would download subscribed podcasts automatically instead of requiring that I select each file individually. I want to download them all!

This app works great and is intuitive/easy to use. The UI is really great, it looks like a true Windows app. I also enjoy how it complies with the app standards, and that it takes advantage of notifications and tiles. I hope the developers keep supporting it!

Went to play a downloaded episode then it crashed, deleting all my subscriptions and downloaded episodes. Why are there no podcast aps for Windows that actually work?

It worked find while on trial, purchased it and it simply closes every time. I can not open the app. IT IS ROBBERY. Microsoft should be ashamed. This app is robbery,

...seems like a simple, crucial function. Otherwise, nice interface. My scheduled updates appear to never be happening. If this can't auto grab the newest episode(s), then it is useless as a "podcatching" app. Need the ability to manually set how many of the newest episodes to keep (2, 3, 5, 9, etc.). When I tap an episode (and it begins streaming), there is no way to exit the playing episode and return to my list of podcasts, other than to manually slide the playbar position to the end of the episode. These are rather a essential features if you are going to ask people to pay you money. Will update after a few more days of use.

I listen to a lot of podcasts at work. This app is so much better than even iTunes. I use this app exclusively now. When I get my Windows phone soon, I will happily purchase the app on Windows phone as well.

I am so far very pleased with NarrowCast. I am a podcast listener from way back, and now with W 8.1 and my WP 8.1 I am happy to have found a simple clean app for my listening. I had some trouble at first (I am NEW to W 8.1 platform having migrated from XP) and Corey was very gracious and helpful with my questions. I think you will be pleased with NarrowCast.

Actually, twice. Tonight was the second time this app lost all my subscriptions. Twice I went through picking podcasts and marking each episode "played" - very time-consuming. Hours blown. No excuse for this - I'll never come back.
