Nature Detective
Nature Detective is a user-friendly app that allows users to keep track of what they see whilst on a nature walk.
You can press the "Start Walk" button where you can state the name of the walk you are on and if you are online the GPS location is automatically taken(if you wish to).
Then as you walk along, if you see a bird, click on the "bird" image button and you are shown a list of common birds.
Click on the picture in the scroll panel and then check the checkbox to confirm your sighting.
A link to Wikipedia will give you more information about the bird(or other item).
If you wish you can then take a photo of the bird(or other item) and the photo will be stored in your gallery.
During your walk you can see a list of items that you have seen in the "My Walk List".
If you click on the "Map" button you can see where your GPS location is on the map(if you check the GPS checkbox) or else you can view the map to search for your location.
After you have finished your walk and checked the checkbox for each item of nature that you discovered, click the "End Walk" button.
This allows you to save your walk list and walk details to any directory available to you.
There is also a "Picture Challenge" where you are challenged to take a photo of the item suggested.
