This application aims at providing free and reliable mapping service by using contents from various geospatial open source projects. Open Map is first introduced to the Windows 8 Platform. It provides features that are unavailable in many mobile mapping applications. PRIVACY POLICY: This application connects to the internet to download data crucial for its functioning. It connects to various third-party services to download and display map images, and process search and route queries. The services used by this application are clearly indicated in the Attributions Page. Please refer to it for more details. The details provided at this stage of the products' development are useless. More detail is easily obtained from Google or the United States Geological Survey site, http//www.nationalmap.gov/ustopo/ .

This map is very helpful in US to find restaurants. Found many nice restaurants around my home that I never heard before. Also, the navigation is good, but needs work.

Very limited compared to free offerings from microsoft or google. no zoom feature. no marker on the map to locate my position. Please keep working on it and I will look forward to seeing the upgrades.
