I loved the simple original version of this game, and this app is a perfect replica. Thank you so much!

This game functions just like the first Sim City. I do believe a sequel should be made, in the likeness of Sim City 2000.

The game is a good concept and fairly well executed. I like the retro look and uncomplicatedness of it. However, it is overly frustrating. My main complaints are that the game is not well balanced, there isn't very much to do, and the UI is a pain. My population size seems to fluctuate drastically without any obvious cause, generating income is nearly impossible and once you're broke you basically have to cut all funding to basic infrastructure or increase taxes and watch your population drop, and neither guarantees you'll make money. You operate off very little info, just a random text every so often. I don't know if anything I do actually makes a difference. The entire UI is a headache. It's so easy to accidentally place an item somewhere, and the only way to get rid of it is bulldozing, and that's goodbye precious funds you have no chance of getting back. Side note, for those of us that are OCD, it would be nice to have a "view grid" type option for placing structures too.

I used to play this when it was the earliest version of SimCity. I loved it then and it's a blast playing it again. Wish there were ports of more recent versions but this is fine for now.

If you go to where you saved your game, and changed the file type from a .rcm file to a .json file, you can then open it and you need to remember how much money you had in the game, then go to the top bar of the notes page, go to edit and click find, type in the amount of money you had when you saved the game, then put in a small ammout, too much and it wont work, I put in 999999 around there and it had worked. once you put in your desired amount, then save the notes/.json file and rename the file type back to .rcm, then open the app, retrocity and right click, press import game and then find the game you had saved, and open it up then Walla! you are rich! also does anyone know how to stop pollution?I am clueless in that area
