Sudoku Puzzle Free

Sudoku (数独, sūdoku, Digit-single), originally called Number Place, is a logic-based,combinatorial number-placement puzzle. The objective is to fill a 9×9 grid with digits so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3×3 sub-grids that compose the grid (also called "boxes", "blocks", "regions", or "sub-squares") contains all of the digits from 1 to 9. The puzzle setter provides a partially completed grid, which typically has a unique solution. Completed puzzles are always a type of Latin square with an additional constraint on the contents of individual regions. For example, the same single integer may not appear twice in the same 9×9 playing board row or column or in any of the nine 3×3 subregions of the 9×9 playing board.

Features:

  • Play with on-screen keyboard or hardware keyboard

Two easy fixes would make this a much better game. First, darken the nine block lines and second, create a signal when the wrong number is entered. Nothing is more infuriating than getting to the wrong end results having wasted your time.

I like it -- it works well. too much white -- hurts the eyes after while. takes the whole screen -- I lose time, date, and icons, can't toggle. can't put in values possible for squares, so have to re-evaluate each time wouldn't mind short list of my best times

Excellent source of entertainment. Keeps the brain active. I specifically liked different stages of the game to sharpen our brain activity.
