Hard to use and not free

The app stopped launching so I uninstalled it , the reinstalled it several times. Still crashes on launch from my Surface Pro 3

I loved the app, but the subscription wouldn't work. I could not find a fix on the inernet

Love the crosswords, nut the app eats up battery and makes my computer run extremely hot when it doesn't have an internet connection.

This app actually got me interested in crosswords, not having played them much before. It's well designed & I'm considering the subscription, which is unheard of for my cheap @$$ :)! I have just 2 issues: - Why does this app have such a hard time distinguishing between L & I? I always use the capital L & a straight vertical line for I. I get that the line could be read as a lowercase L, but it does NOT like when I try to dot a lowercase I. I've had to re-do a square over 10 times before it finally read it as I. -Why is there no easy way to find out the cost of just a crossword sub? Neither the app or the website state amounts. Presumably you see if you add to cart, but I want to consider it before ordering.

When the app can't access a network, it consumes 45-50% CPU, raises power state to high, and heats up my surface pro 3 to no end. Developers need to realize the world sometimes travels. Otherwise a great app.

It would be great if the app had the timer and ability to pause like the website. I am sure there is some other functionality it could be given as well!

It's really frustrating that I cannot write in my answers on my Surface RT. Apparently the handwriting is only for the Surface Pro.
