I would like to be able to see download progress when I purchase a game and have the ability to stream a game to the companion app!

I really like the ability to search music on my surface tablet and play directly to my home theater setup. One thing though, it seems you can't just browse music and keep adding songs too the playlist. I know you can do this in the music app but not here. Very good addition to this app over all.

The SmartGlass app is great overall, but I would REALLY like a proper snap view. My use case is this: my Xbox One is my home's entertainment hub. It's supplying music (over Xbox Music) to my whole house audio system. When I'm in my home office, I'd like be able to advance to the next song, adjust the volume, or select another playlist from the SmartGlass app, but I want that SmartGlass app to be on screen the whole time in an appropriately sized snap view. I understand that SmartGlass is probably going away as an independent app in Windows 10, so I hope the new Xbox app gets us there.

I love this app. I have it installed on my Windows 8.1 Laptop,
my Samsung Galaxy S5, my Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5, and my fiancé's Samsung Galaxy S4 and it works great on all devices with no problems at all.

The potential this product has is huge. For the ability to type using your pad instead of a controller or tiny chat pad is reason enough to snatch this download. The ability to feedback and help shape this products future is what the Xbox Community is all about. Give feedback, let your voice be heard. Together we will shape Smartglass into a necessity for every Xbox One Console.

I'm not sure why you're surprised that this app is less stable on Windows than on Android or iOS. Microsoft's every gesture toward their own mobile computing platforms in the 21st century has been halfhearted at best. They even appointed Belfiore (who you may remember from such raging successes as the eHome division and Windows Phone 8) to lead the Windows team. Solid.
Of course anything developed for iOS is going to be perfect and polished; the cult demands nothing less and where the cult goes, everyone follows. God forbid you put your own platform and your own customers first these days... the new CEO says we're a services company, not a software company! To us that means let's let the software that people actually paid us money for suck rocks while we put all the development effort and talent into free iOS and Android apps. We'll get around to those Windows Phone apps all the suckers who fell for our pitch have been asking for eventually.

Great app when it is working. Still leaves me stunned that the app is less reliable in a Microsoft OS than on Android and iOS. I constantly have issues in Windows 8.1.

Love the layout but wish the tiles were able to be used on smart glass to access friends, game dvr, etc.

app is amazing on my Hp g6 WIN 8.1 now all it needs its a streaming service to play my games on my laptop via my wifi network and all will be well..........
