I am a member of Ancestry with user ID of gbailey3308. My problem is that I can not log into Ancestry support. What is the problem? I have tried over the last few hours to get into Ancestry support, but can not. I have a new computer with windows 10 and am trying to set up Ancestry to work for both Ancestry .com and Ancestry support. How can I add Ancestry to my start page like I have on windows 8.1 and also add a short cut for Ancestry ? My e mail address is g.bailey3308@sbcglobal.net. Please help!! Thanks Gerry rating is 3 stars

All it does is show a few top people from your last accessed tree, Facebook posts from Ancestry, and some hints that you can't even add. Can't view the tree or do anything with the hints. Shows some facts, so maybe it's useful if you want to find a few notes about a person that happens to appear on the front page?

First is displayed a account that was shared wit me instead of my home tree that I own. I had to remove the shared tree via the Ancestry web to see my tree. Second, does not provide a "tree" view. Just a list. Finally, you can't search/research from the app. This is a pointless app.

You can see what you've found on the website, the sources, and it will take you to the websites online but you can't search on the app itself.

This is not an Ancestry.com bashing. I love the work that Ancestry has done over the years. I've grown my tree to over 700. This Windows App is just poor PERIOD If you have access to Android you are better off. The ease of functionality should be the same across all platforms and clearly this not the case If the 1 stars are more than 5 by a good amount take the clue and run. Note: This is meant to be a humble opinion. If I'm missing something let me know.
