1. Pen input super easy and effective 2. The entire app is simple to use 3. UPDATE: now has sharing to OneNote, email. The new intro says will have export to PDF. 4. UPDATE: I found the privacy policy: https://cloud.wacom.com/?page=privacy&lang=en

I really loved this app, but after writing some 10+ pages of notes, I could not transfer it to onenote or any other medium, I wish if I could export it to PDF or Print. This feature would be very helpful.

At first I had problems with the app getting stuck on the splash page so I checked for an update and sure enough there was an update. I updated the app and now it works great!!!

My only complaint is that it doesn't bind the eraser button on the Surface Pro 3 with the eraser tool.... kind of annoying. Otherwise, awesome.

There are some quirks to it, but overall I'm liking it a lot so far. Quirks are the page lines. Its per notebook and does not auto rotate based on orientation. Need to set vertical lines if taking notes portrait. Also no way to drag select an area and move it, and lack of mapping eraser to button on pen. Plus points are the way it smooth's my writing and simple clean minimal UI design. Note anytime is great, but so many things going on in the UI.

Ok maybe some people had trouble at first but this is a really solid app. Reminds me of Paper on iPad so I'm happy to have this on my SP3. It's awesome to have the right click menu. Only thing it needs is a color wheel.

The best system for jotting down that one idea or doodle.

There are no freezes and the operation is so smooth. I don't even have a stylus so I tried using my finger to write. Experience so far is very smooth. No glitches and it looks beautiful. I should go and buy a good WACOM stylus now :)

I just don't see what this program is supposed to do for me that OneNote doesn't. I uninstalled it, there was nothing to differentiate it. Its a nice enough looking program. It lacks the organization found in the OneNote App. With the Surface Pen (Pro 3 N-trig, not wacom): No pressure, no eraser. App isn't using the Windows 8 pen APIs. There are ads for styli that are simple capacitive (mimic your finger), these are targeted at iPad, so this is just a simple port of an existing program. -2 stars for the pen.

I want to put makeup on my dog, but my boyfriend will not allow me to, so I can do so with this app. 4 stars! only because I can't choose as many colors as I want to.

I was able to try this app on my desktop, where it is quite wonderful, using a Wacom external tablet (Bamboo pen). On my target machine for this app, the Dell Venue Pro, it works fine except for the pen pressure, which is a problem with the dell and its active stylus. great app overall!

I first tried bamboo paper on the ipad and with my physical pen tablet/mouse... this version that I use on the Surface Pro 3 is the best yet as it brings the fantastic world of sketch and pen scribble drawing to my Windows tablet. Thank you Wacom for being SO AWESOME!

It works great on my Surface (first generation). I understand there seems to be issues with the splash screen, but it is working fine here. Besides this is the first release. Wacom, don't give up or neglect this app, I loved Bamboo Page and now Bamboo Paper. The update should fix everything, revise your review.

All I get is the black Bamboo Paper splash screen

I had this app on my iPhone and loved it. it was easy peasy, and made all my drawings and notes look as wonderful as the information held within the notebook. It is easy to personalize, jot notes or even sketch and paint whatever I want, even my 6 year old loves to use it!

Surface Pro 3 users take note, this is a great sketch pad application. Since the last update, this program has been improved significantly. The erase button on the Surface Pro 3 is now linked to the erase action. This simple change made the app many times more useable. Bumping up from 4/5 to 5/5.

It works well for me on my older Lenovo laptop non-touch& Venue 8 Pro- I've seen others report it crashes to start BUT its free. report issues to support email

The actually drawing on this app works wonderfully. It moves gracefully and naturally. It could be greatly improved with a greater number of colors and more than three brush sizes. A fill bucket option would also be an improvement.

Wouldn't load at first. It froze at the splash screen. It now works and is pretty, but largely duplicates OneNote functionality. If you dislike OneNote, this would be a good alternative.

FINALLY!! And thanks for the quick update! Now my surface 2 worth have increased a 70% just because of this app! There was no good app for me to draw into with surface. All had problems with the fidelity of the stroke. With this App lines come out awesome! I really wish that Wacom adds driver support for surface 2 soon so I can have more features and buy one of their awesome styluses. Couldn't be more happy! Thanks Wacom!

As an artist, I've played around with many different free apps to find the best one. This has different types of writing utensils to choose from, and is so easy to use. I would suggestion that there is more of a color wheel rather than the blots of color. Also, I would suggest shortcuts being accessible by the keyboard. Such as ctrl-z is undo, and when doing something, it would be easier to ctrl-z then move my curser all the way up to the top corner to change something. Other than those few things, its wonderful!

This is an amazing app. The ink looks beautiful and I'm amazed that even I can produce some decent looking drawings. The thing that would put this over the top for me are automatic syncing of notebooks between devices, and the ability to create layers.

This application is very easy to use. The best thing Next to Samsung S Note. The only problem is way too few controls. I will pick on only one but it is the most detrimental of all let us say you are working on a masterpiece drawing, poem, storyline, whatever. Then you hit the delete button, to clean up your documents pages but you just realized it was the master page not the draft page, what now where did it go what then? It is not in the recycle bin it is totally destroyed. This is a 5 Star application without this problem. But I would hate to loose days weeks or months worth of work because of a small flaw. Or have someone else experience the same.

On lumia 2520. The end of drawn lines are clipped. If I cross two strokes one with the other, the intersection point shows the last stroke with a blank area cut out of the previous stroke. Not useful.

Just like a real notebook! There is no problem on my surface pro 2. Excellent inking like a real brush. I want it also for my Nokia Lumia 1520!

I absolutely love this application... I would definitely pay for the extra brushes. I love how the tools make the size bigger or smaller based on what speed you draw a stroke at. Lines are very smooth and precise. It would be better if the application could zoom in a little though! It's hard to draw with your fingers if you can only zoom but so much.

Works well on Dell Venue 8 Pro with stylus. The strokes smooth out & look much better than OneNote. Will use this to doodle & sketch mockups from now on. It'll be great if the app can distinguish between touch and stylus & give options to restrict drawing only to stylus & maybe touch for smudge or erase. Also an 'Export' feature would be amazing.

This app is great, and it has so many options. You can change the color of the journal, the lines, and (although many people say you cant) change the words on the cover of the notebook. Instead of tapping the book to open it you tap directly on the words. I did it by mistake so I'm sure you will figure it out sooner or later. Definitely recommend this app for pretty much ANYONE!!!!!!
