Camera Suite for GoPro Hero

Camera Suite allows you to control GoPro Hero 2, 3, 3+, and 4 cameras over Wifi. It supports video live streaming, media browsing and media management. Important note for Hero 4 cameras (all other Hero cameras are not affected): Due to an incompatibility between the Windows Store environment and the GoPro Hero 4 the pairing mode does not work on some devices. Please run this tool (as administrator!) for pairing: "http://www.camerasuite.org/dl/winrtfix1.zip". All other functionality is not affected by this problem. ++ Features: - Connect GoPro Hero 2 (with Wifi bacpac), 3, 3+, and 4 cameras over Wifi. - Control all important camera settings (including resolution, frame rate, camera mode, Protune, ...). - Live video preview. - View, stream, download, and delete media files directly over Wifi. - Share downloaded media files with other apps. - Copy download links to the clipboard (for instance for using alternative download managers for video download). - Support to scale the user interface size (e.g. to decrease/increase control size for easier handling). - Note: Support for GoPro Hero 4 Wifi pairing fix: http://www.camerasuite.org/dl/winrtfix1.zip More information and help: http://www.camerasuite.org Demo video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4oFAp9bnbk Do you miss a feature or do you have a problem? Never loads.....no stars

This is a great app for a Surface running Windows 8.1. I have the GoPro native app for my Windows 10 phone and it was not working well at all. In desperation I turned to the windows store and found this app. It connects with my Silver 3+ without a hitch. I can change up camera settings easy and the preview is much better. It took a little experimenting with the buttons at the top to understand how the app controls the camera, but the learning curve is quick. It is worth the 5 bucks paid for better remote camera control. Now that I found this for my W8.1 Surface, (company owned, our IT isn't ready to move up to W10), I'm going to download the same app for my W10 phone.
