It works very well. Pages are clear and going from page to page is very fluid. I have not encountered any problem with it.

I keep my comics organized on my micro SD card and read them directly off the card through this app. It maintains the folder hierarchy so I stay organized which is the most important thing I look for in a comic book reader.

Excellent CBR/CBZ reader with an option for a library as well. Great app. Liked it enough to buy it! My only gripe would be to better the zoom to use pinch without having to double tap. But still the best comic reader, especially for library purposes. An additional suggestion is to put an extra brightness control similar to the Kindle app for iPad. 15/03/14 -- Still the best cbr/cbz reader on Windows. Nothing else comes close.

Bad at reading multiple, high-quality scans. Fix it

I have a large scanned collection. When this loaded up and immediately generated a database of my collection, complete with series sorting and cover thumbnails, I couldn't believe it. This has transformed the way I interact with my collection. Just playing around, scrolling through all the covers is fun. Then, I shared my comic folder, went to my windows tablet, downloaded CBReader, pointed it at the shared folder, and the database populated on my tablet, so now I have network access all around my home. Brilliant. My only complaint is that, on startup, it automatically cans for a page and thumbnail count. On a large library, this takes a while, and leads to crashing and freezing. Please add a setting to disable the automatic check for pagecount and thumbnails on startup. Also an option to view pages in full width would be very welcome. I've never found an app on the app store that was in any way useful or convenient. It was nice to find just one killer app.
