Says an "inactivated" install of Windows 8.1 will fail to update the lock screen. Mine is, and still doesn't update. Event Viewer is full of errors related to backgroundTaskHost.exe from this application as it fails to update.

If you're lazy (like I am :) ) and if you're huge fan of that bing desktop application for changing background you won't be disappointed by this app.

I wish there was a way to have the caption show up as a well on the lock screen. I can't seem to find a way to get it to do so. National Geographic seems to have stopped working

Great app highly recommend. For the Devs: when I enable the lockscreen it says chenge not change...just wanted to point that out.

Worked, then it stopped working. Updated the flash player for win8.1 and it all works This is one very neat app Wish for shorted change times, like 5 min, or a variable

This app worked fine until I added a folder of my own pictures, roughly 1,100 .jpg's. Now the app takes forever to load and often crashes if I right click on anything.

Absolute crap. App doesn't start and can't be uninstalled once it's been downloaded. Can not believe this. What a waste of time.

Started Chameleon and selected "Bing Picture of the Day" and specified "Change Lock Screen Every 15 minutes". App message confirmed background task started and would change picture every 15 minutes. Then locked screen w/my account still active. Lock screen showed first "Bing Picture of the Day" -- hooray! 15 minutes later, 30 minutes later... no change. Logged back into Windows, re-started Chameleon and selected a different Chameleon-provided photos series and repeated. No change.

I've had this running for a week now, have told Chameleon to change my Lock Screen, and it confirmed that it would run a system task every 12 hours. My Lock Screen is still the one I set inside of Windows.

The photos are new and makes the lock screen more interesting. This is a very good app.

I just installed it. But it isn't ready to open. Every time I try, it just closes automatically. :(

Was working wonderfully until recent April 1st update which broke a feature I used a lot (local pictures slideshow). Contacted developer and worked with me in order to determine problem and fixed it within a day! Great service! Beautiful App! Bringing joy to my Win 8 experience. Cannot be more happy! Thank You!

This has been a very satisfying app, so far. It gathers a nice selection of interesting pictures from all of my favorite sites; and, they just keep improving it as the months go by. I haven't used this for the Lock Screen. I use John's Background Switcher on the Desktop instead; and, Chameleon provides a nice selection of 'saved pictures' for John's Background Switcher to work with.

While it displays pictures well, it does not modify my lock screen in the slightest.

the last time I used it it searched images but wouldn't let me change backgrounds. I tried it again just now and when I search it just goes to a black screen and is unresponsive.

Best part being multiple sources for the photos. Please add more options for downloading multiple pics at one or automatic saving of pics.

I'm so happy I found this as I really hate being stuck with "one wallpaper" for anything. I do admit it was a little difficult figuring out how to assign a category (in my case my local pictures folder) to be changed and what intervals. Might be nice to include certain local folders as I don't need my entire library selected. But so far it's working great.

I think this is a useful app and interesting idea - but it's hard to know what categories of images are in the queue. Right now I have a topless cartoon character as my lock screen image. Good thing I'm not at work.
