First things first! We've recently released a brand new PC app with the new UI which provides a better desktop experience. You can get more info and read about it on our website: http://chaos-control.mobi. Please note that if you've purchased Chaos Control on Windows Store, you can get the new Chaos Control for Windows PC for free (see details on our website). After all, the difference between the "old" and the "new" Chaos Control is that the old app is more suitable for tablets, and the new app is optimised for "classic" PCs and laptops. This is still a huge update though! The version 1.6 brings you improved UI/UX and new features: - Automatic sync - More notifications options (IMPORTANT: since we've introduced a completely new notifications engine, you might need to set new notifications for your tasks) - You can now manually sort contexts, folders and projects - New and improved search - Various UX improvements and fixes In case if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email us: cc@tarasov-mobile.com

Chaos Control

Chaos Control was created to help you manage your goals and desired outcomes in both your business and personal life. ******* IMPORTANT: Please note that this particular version of Chaos Control is optimised for tablets. We've also released a brand new PC version of Chaos Control optimised for better desktop experience. You can find more info and download the new app on our website: http://chaos-control.mobi ******* People don't usually achieve impressive results simply by being good at task management. It's the ability to set legitimate goals that makes the difference. Just write down your desired outcomes to make them real. This simple technique helps you to prioritize your goals before acting on them. Chaos Control is a task manager based on the best ideas of GTD (Getting Things Done) methodology created by David Allen. Whether you are running a business, launching an app, working on a project or simply planning your holiday trip, Chaos Control is a perfect tool to manage your goals, juggle your priorities, and organize your tasks to get things done. And the best part is, you can handle both heavyweight project planning and simple daily routine like shopping list management in one flexible app. Also, Chaos Control is available across all major mobile and desktop platforms with seamless sync. HERE IS HOW IT WORKS: 1) MANAGE YOUR PROJECTS Project is a goal combined with a set of tasks you need to complete in order to achieve it. Create as many projects as you like to write down all the desired outcomes you have 2) ORGANIZE YOUR GOALS Create unlimited number of projects and group them by category using Folders 3) USE GTD CONTEXTS Organize tasks from different projects using flexible context lists. If you are familiar with GTD you would just love this feature 4) PLAN YOUR DAY Set due dates for tasks and make plans for any particular day 5) USE CHAOS BOX Put all the incoming tasks, notes and ideas into Chaos Box in order to process them later. It works similar to GTD inbox, but you can use it as a simple to-do list 6) SYNC YOUR DATA Chaos Control works on both desktop and mobile devices. Setup an account and sync your projects across all of your devices This app is designed with creative people in mind. Designers, writers, developers, startup founders, entrepreneurs of all kinds and pretty much anyone with ideas and desire to make them happen. We combined the power of GTD with the convenient interface to help you with: ■ personal goal setting ■ task management ■ time management ■ planning your business and personal activities ■ building your routine ■ handling simple to do lists, checklists and shopping lists ■ catching your ideas and thoughts to process them later KEY FEATURES ■ Seamless cloud sync across all major mobile and desktop platforms ■ GTD-inspired Projects and Contexts supplemented with Folders, sub-folders and sub-contexts ■ Recurring tasks (daily, weekly, monthly and chosen days of the week) ■ Chaos Box - Inbox for your unstructured tasks, notes, memos, ideas and thoughts. Great tool for staying on track inspired by GTD ideas ■ Notes for tasks, projects, folders and contexts ■ Fast and smart search Have a productive day!

I like how I consolidate all my notes in one place & see it either by due date or by project. I now realize how much I have going on. It would be nice to be able to add attachments to each task or project but for now I just need to reference where I have my expanded notes.

As anyone using GTD knows, it's important to have a system you trust and can have with you at all times. CC does a great job of doing this. I have tried other task programs that synced and would notice that tasks would disappear occasionally. Needless to say that erodes ones trust in their system. I have been using CC on multiple Windows PCs, a Windows Phone, and the iPod Touch for the last few weeks with no lost tasks or even unchecked items. Yes, I do have to hit the manual sync at times, but it only takes a second to update. I love the Daily Plan works showing both tasks due today and ones that you could do today if you have the time which is great if you are doing MYN. This is a work in progress and there are a few changes that need to be made on the PC version, but it works pretty well for now.

It is somewhat regimented so I have to get creative to do things but overall very good.

Mostly good! sometimes the sync between the windows 8.1 version and windows phone 8.1 version isn't the same. Sometimes I find myself having to manually push sync to make sure that it syncs to the server. I wonder if the background sync could be a bit improved? I also would like to see like a master view that just lists everything at once in both the windows phone version and windows version. I don't know if that goes against the principles in the book, but I think it would be useful.

This is a very good app and a solid four stars (mainly because it is very new). It needs some additional flexibility, for example by assigning multiple contexts and being able to combine them with a logical AND or logical OR. With further development this app will be a solid 5 star.

l have been using GTD for a decade or so. I think it is most effective time management tool invented to date. This is a very effective tool for running your GTD system off your tablet. Intuitive and familiar. I would like app to have option to rotate, so software could easily be used when tablet is not docked or attached to keyboard. Would also like integration with OneNote and perhaps tabs on side to mimic paper Daytime. Handwriting recognition would be fantastic! I used to walk around with a 2 inch thick Daytime notebook. Now all is in my SP3.

I have this synced between my Android phone and my Windows 8 Surface and this app saves my life. If you're a busy entrepreneur or manager, this is significantly simpler than other task managing platforms like basecamp.

This app seems to be helping me with several of my organizational problems. I'm working on several projects and this helps to keep them separated but moving forward on all of them. I love the Chaos Box for keeping my ideas until I figure out where they belong.

The app is nicely arranged visually and closely matches the principles of David Allen's GTD methodology. Even though not all functionality is rolled out, I've moved my GTD productivity practices completely into this app. The development team is very responsive to suggestions for added features. Great experience overall.

Like to approach but have lots of sync problems. Appears to also cause a login problem via web site. Reported months ago. Developer email me to tell me it was fixed (to their credit, they respond quickly and directly), but it is still a problem. UPDATE: The sync problems appear to be solved. Using this tool as my primary task manager now. Why 4 not 5? Would like the project view to auto sort by due date with those without due dates at the bottom. Would also like a "ASAP" flag that pushes a task to the bottom of the current day (lower priority than a task with today as due date but higher than tomorrow's tasks).
