Diff File Viewer

Diff File Viewer is a straightforward tool for viewing a .diff file. This tool does not generate the .diff file, but merely allows for easy reading of these types of file in a Windows 8 style setting.

The app requires you to produce a diff file and supposedly it give you a friendly ui for seeing those differences. There are no instructions on how you produce a diff file. I tried using the dos fc command and directed the output to file with a diff extension. This tool didn't like that. I then tried using the diff tool that comes with git bash shell. The tool didn't like that diff format either. Without additional research it's not clear how one goes about using this tool and I don't have the time to try and figure it out. The tool has no help information on how you produce the diff file that it wants for input. I'm sure it's perfectly clear to the author of this tool on what your suppose to do and perhaps a little explanation in the tool might be all that it's missing; but for now it's not ready for prime time use.
