I still like this game but liked it a lot better when all 5 character classes were available. This was the main reason I bought the game. Also missing great equipment like green dragon armor, Excalibur, etc. that you would sometimes be able to find at beginning levels.

Liked this game even when it first came out and the dev has done a good job updating it. Has some nice polish now.

It will be five starts, when the game is finished and polished. Here are some shortcoming and missing features. Hopefully they will be addressed in future releases. - Current HP of a monster is not displayed. - Shops and money are not useful on deeper levels. - Fountains effects mostly adverse or trifling; - Speed is not cumulative (from boots, potions and spells); - Sudden difficulty jump between some levels (especially at Lord Slyn lair). - If a hero kills a shopkeeper, all shops should be closed for him (maybe until redemption money is paid). - A little bit better casting skills and choice of weapons for Rogue, Paladin and Fighter. - A training mode with several restore points. A great game anyway.

It's a fun little rogue game. The only thing preventing me from giving it another star or two is the controls. Tapping the precise square you want to step on is tedious on tablet sized screens. It would be more enjoyable to be able to tap the direction you want to go, and also to tap and hold for continuous movement like the original rogue games.

Good game to play and kill some time. Would like to see more info on the help screen, but excellent app.

Monster slaying. Death by hunger because you put on cursed boots of levitation. Spells, potions, and scrolls. What more could I want or expect from a 2 dollar(or free with ads) roguelike dungeon crawler? The game is what I have been looking for on my surface pro. It takes me back to the days of Rogue on 5 1/2" floppy. Dungeon of Slyn is not a deep Immersive game like nethack is, but I'm not looking for that in a tablet game. If I wanted a dungeon crawler like nethack, I would play nethack. Your play experience is based on the class you choose. Past that it is rather limited in skill choices. This is a time killer game I play on the go, and its the best time killer I own. I gladly paid the 2 dollars for the full ad free game.

all of the classes feel out of your control, and some of them are less appealing than others. such as the paladin having the same weight limit as the wizard. also a lot of items after being identified have no description whatsoever. a lot is left unexplained in the help files and animations close to non-existent with no appearance change when equipping different items. all in all I don't see a lot of potential if this is the end product

I play this all the time on my Surface and my Lumia phone. Its not nethack but its still a great way to while away the time.

This game works much like the classic NetHack game, but with simplified details and more tablet friendly. A great way to kill a few hours!
