Did not work to play a single DVD I tried multiple players and will not even register the hardware. Save your money!

Sucks. Just loaded it and it doesn't work. Entered setting and still nothing. Asks me if I want to play all and it flashes a picture and stops. Every other player I have had starts automatically.

How does one mess up playing a DVD? Well, look no further than this app. When trying to watch Star Wars, the program decides to have a seizure and go through every single language. And that's not even to say that it will change language on you, no matter what. Fix it or take down this garbage. Cumbersome and generally irritating, you'd have a better time looking for an actual DVD Player. 1/10

I paid $14.99 for this app and it does NOT play dvds. If I clicked on the DVD that was in the computer, all it did was open the audio and visual files separately...wouldn't play anything. Very frustrating! The company was quick to respond to my request for help, but their "help" still didn't make the player work. Luckily, I called Microsoft support and was able to get a refund. If you want a refund call their support # 877-696-7786.

wont even play a family guy dvd and claims the apps parental settings are preventing me from watching... there is no where on the entire internet that allows me to change the parental settings of this app

Will not work on Windows 8/ HP Stream (with DVD hard drive component attached.) I am so angry I am literally seeing red, after 45 minutes of trying to navigate this terrible attempt at a DVD player. I am going to uninstall this mess.

I just wasted $11 on an app that doesn't work. Plays none of my dvds. I work hard for my money, live without wifi so streaming isn't an option. Used cellular data to download this. I am beyond mad. Why Microsoft would allow an app in their store that doesn't work is beyond me. Was a loyal fan to Microsoft for the last 16 years. Not anymore. Time to wash my hands clean. It's the final straw. I work too hard for my money, even if it is "only $10." A penny saved is better than $1 wasted....So there it is. Learn from my mistake and save your money. I've never written a bad review. Ever. And here it is. This doesn't even deserve the single star I gave it. JUNK!
