We did end up upgrading to the paid version... because my son loves to play. He learned very quickly that the letters are sounded and waits for each sound then pays attention asthw whole word sounds. We moved to latter prompts only and hope to move to no prompts soon. My son is nonverbal and generally does not like to "work" but will play this game for 30minutes at a time. My only compliant? I wish the company made more games. Other apps have far too many visual distractions, but this one is attractive with being busy.... we want more!

I bought this freaking app, SO I THOUGHT... Apparently I only bought a 1/4 of it, if that... In order for her to play the rest of the game I have to keep buying parts of it... SO NOT COOL...

Folks you need to lock the purchase screen. Option to purchase various scenarios, should lock after each purchase not confirm or cancel. My kids might click purchase.... which would be great for and stink for me.

The app works great and my german speaking son is finally learning English phonics. One problem - after I purchased it the letters V U and P tiles went blank on the bottom. It still works, but just a little weird for him when it reads the word back.

Didn't like the app. More money for more words? Please. First time I purchased an app through Microsoft Store - never again. To get a refund you have to call them or go online chat where they tell you to call in. That's so 90's! One click on Android and I would have had a refund. But Microsoft prefers their customers jump through hoops for an hour for a refund on a 3 dollar app. Idiots.
