This magazine was better on Zinio. The scans are about HD quality (which isn't great for print). The thumbnail feature doesn't work. The only reason I'm giving this 3 stars is I can't give 2.5. It's a real bare bones effort and about the only thing that's good is that it's on Windows Store at all and that the in app purchase is smooth. I just don't feel I got $8 worth of quality. I think I'll just go back to getting these in print.

I've been reading this mag since the beginning. I've had to skip issues due to the cost for the magazine in the U.S. but now with the app I can afford to read all the issues when they come out.

I am so happy that Future publishing has finally decided to acknowledge the existence of the Windows Store and create an app for my favorite magazine. HOWEVER, as per usual, the version that Windows 8 gets is the inferior version compared to iOS and android. PROs: -It exists. Purchasing issues works well enough. Cons: -Resolution of text and images is very low (unacceptable for an art magazine -Video tutorials, galleries, and resources are unavailable. I do not know why iOS is the only version that supports this. -The UI is pretty bad. Swipe up > Filter > view all downloaded, or view all purchased. That's a ridiculous way to simply look at your library. -You can pin issues to the start screen (which is great) but the thumbnail is a garish baby poop green "Imagine FX" logo and not the cover image. Makes it difficult to discern which issue is which if you want multiple pinned to your start screen. -Also, there needs to be a Windows Phone app as well.
