Once understood how to show all of the information contained, after clicking on everything in sight, the app offered far more than imagined for numerous cities and towns around the U.S.. Very well put together and only wish there were information bubbles pointing to various places and what they did. At least in the first running of the app after installation.

Would be nice if it had photography related items, otherwise a very nice app with lots of detailed information. I think the price is a little high for what it does.

I really like and use this app. Lots of information. The only needed improvements are for the Windows version. The calendar view only shows the month and day of week (i.e., 02/ Sat). Sunrise/sunset times do not adjust when for DST, which require mental calculations. Both issues make it annoying to use from time to time.

Great info on position of sun & moon, sunset, phase of the moon, equinoxes, etc. The v. on WindowsPhone is excellent. Compared to the WP version, however, the Win8 does not offer much more. I hope the author adds more functionality and simulations on the Win8 v. For example, a simulation displaying the face of the moon through the year. There are separate tiles for Sun & Moon info, & that is great, yet. An option with a colorful or realistic Su would be nice. Overall, a great resource.

But it gives you the information you want in a super easy to read format. Update: if you understand the chart in the detail view, you can tell where and when the moon will be in in your sky.
