The Media Player Lite seems to be a funnel to get you to buy Media Player eLite... but I cannot play the .MAV file that it proposed to be able to play. In fact it doen't even appear to try and play it. All it does is bring up a random play list on my computer to play. Of course the navigation is clunky at best - largely just because windows 8.1 is so clunky...

What in the world is this app??!!! I bought this so I could play my DVDs! And the first time I use it--it was great! Then, however, the next time I tried it...NOTHING! It did absolutely nothing. And that's the whole story of my experience since. The application/program just doesn't start. The yellow splash screen show up when I put a DVD in...but that's ALL. it's just sits there (once for an entire day) that pretty yellow screen. is this an online only app?? Did I miss something in the initial description? I don't know.
I can only say as of now--and I've had it for at least a month--this app does nothing!
Sorry about the bad review--but that's what's happened. I paid for something that doesn't work at all!
