I just downloaded but if it works as well on my PC as it does on my cell phone, I'm in.

Matching and downloading album art could use some work.

Trying it out, and it seems very promising. However, for some reason I'm only getting colored boxes instead of cover art display for my music, even though the cover art is properly displayed both in Windows Explorer and in Winamp. Also, I have to assume this is a bug since it's too bizarre to be a missing feature, but N7Player doesn't show up as an option in Windows Explorer for me to set as a default app to play music - instead, I have to play a song from inside N7Player to get it to play. I originally was going to just contact the developers with my feedback instead of leaving it as a review, but using the report a bug function in the app, when I fill in my feedback and click "send the report" it just pops up a dialog that says "Notification Report has not been sent", so I guess that's another bug for them to fix.

Looks great on screen and functionality is great, really like this program

This is a great app that I'd recommend Just wish there was a little more support on how to interface with your pc and android. Other than that, probably the best visual interface out there for music.

I've been using N7Player for Android for quite some time now, and as I've just switched to Windows, I couldn't be more happy to see my favourite player present on the platform ^_^

It is way better than any basic music app

I own the full paid version for my phone and have been using that app for 2+ years, so I had tot download the windows version and it's just as nice as the android version though it's missing quite a bit of features like the ability to manually edit album art & the equalizer just to name a few. Hope those features are added soon, other wise i'm still a fan of N7!

Nice music player.

I believe the default music player is perfectly fine; however, this one is outright amazing. Performance is fantastic, with transitions that feel snappy and responsive. The looks are stunning, especially in the surface screen that makes a beautiful use of typography. And there is a nice attention to details: for instance, the colors in the now playing screen change according to the album art. The music player to beat. Highly recommended. For those that lament the requirement to put the files in the Music library: you know that you can add any folder to it, including those on USB sticks/SD cards/etc., right? Just right-click on the "Music" icon under Libraries and select properties: from there, you can add any folder you want. And if you just cared to look at the permissions this app requires, you would see that it can access removable storage.

This was one of my top 3 music player apps on Android, only behind Poweramp in terms of features. It's good to see this app make its way here. I am enjoying this beta version; I can only hope that all of Android/iOS features makes their way onto this version as well.

First review ever. N7 was my favorite on DROID. Please update to allow custom library locations, like network and SD/USB. I'd gladly pay a couple bucks for that ability.

The UI is nice

I love it, Iv'e had it on my phone for quite some time, but can you please make it able to play flac files, most of my songs are flac. Thank you for an awesome job so far, def the best music player on pc, that Iv'e seen so far.

All music players that force you to pile all your thousands of songs into the music folder are fascist junk. Players supposedly designed to run on phones and tabs with limited internal storage rate the "pure' designation for blissfully ignoring the fact that storing music on things like usb drives, network folders and microsd cards is frequently essential.

I have waited for very VERY long time for a decent music-playing app for my Windows tablet. Most apps miss on-the-go playlisting. To be precise, this is the ONLY music player out there I found which supports on-the-go playlisting. The interface is also extremely nice. I'm a long-time N7 player user on my Android phone and when I got the notification that N7 is available on Win8.1, I couldn't believe my luck. THANK YOU GUYS!! I would be more than happy to pay or donate!!
