Comments for NFL Mobile

I haven't been able to use or even try the app because it crashes on startup, ALL the time. I'm running then the App on a new Dell Venue Pro 8 so I'm not sure what the problem is.

This app could be amazing, but it isn't. All the videos stutter, pause randomly, pixelate at times, and the audio is ~5 sec off. This isn't just SOME videos, it's ALL of them, ALL the time. And now it crashes constantly... Great job NFL. Edit: Launches now, but videos still suck.

5 stars when fixed and actually works.

I think that it is visually stunning but it needs work on the sensitivity and needs maybe a little more options for alerts.

This app gives you access to redzone, nfl network, scores, standings, fantasy, alerts, pretty much everything that its in the iphone app if not more so two thumbs up

The app doesn't list Xfinity Comcast as a provider, so I was not able to watch Redzone. None of the videos played, they crash almost immediately. Whether it was a live game, or game highlights, video play is terrible. Uninstalled.

like title says, it's a good app, but I would still recommend sticking with the website

Why will this app not start? It just keeps spinning and spinning and then it closes and goes back to the previous screen. Please fix this. ( I have a Windows 8.1 RT 2 in 1 computer).

2014 some videos stall and crash in small screen mode but work fine on full screen. useless audio streaming only lets me hear the games that are on TV. I want to hear my team I don't care that I'm located in a city that is a secondary market for the looser Jaguars. Still a terrible app below is my review from last year. from 2013:Whenever you try to play a video you see a pop up ad to download the NFL mobile app. The NFL mobile app shows you an ad to download the NFL mobile app! Why do I have to scroll past the league news to see anything about my team. We get it you have a crush on Tom Brady, he won't love you back no matter how many times you write an article about him.

I am running Windows 8.1 on my Surface Pro. The app is crashing on startup.

Really, I would like to use the app since TWC TV website doesn't use HTML5, and the RT doesn't use Silverlight. I can't believe the top two cable providers aren't listed.

Always crashes at startup.

First no option for Xfinity / Comcast customers. Second, Microsoft being the technology sponsor and NFL mobile and specifically "Red Zone" on any Microsoft product.

I don't like the new layout! There was nothing wrong with the old one! Also, while I realize I'm in the minority, I detest fantasy football, and don't like that being added to the app front page, and more importantly, not being able to remove it. But it's not all bad. It's nice you can now watch the NFL Network in-app. Still, this went from a 4 star to a 2 star rating from me. Hopefully they'll adjust it more in the future. Update 1/31/15: Doesn't work with Windows 10 Preview. Just constantly crashes.

Used to work but in the last month or two it now starts to open and then immediately crashes and closes. No updates available, have re-installed, but app keeps crashing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME UNTIL A NEW VERSION THAT WORKS IS RELEASED. 1/4/2014

App not working

Ever since I was forced to update the app, it crashes on startup. Every time. All the time.

I want to be able to watch the live feed like I can on my phone. Add that, you get 5 stars!! Videos play fine on my Surface Pro.

avatar

16 October 2013

RedZone and NFL network not available, even though I pay Verizon for this on my phone. I was told this app and the phone app have different agreements and I would need my television provider, Comcast, integration. Which does not exist. Super confusing.

Not bad. Could be better. Needs live tile support. Still like the ESPN app over this, even though I don't really follow many other sports besides pro football nowadays...

avatar

Doesn't allow me to watch the highlights and other videos of the game! Always tells me to try again later on!!!

avatar

29 January 2015

lots of content, lots of choices. Only thing is that it sometimes is a little on the slow side, because of all the content that it needs to load!

This is a great app I use it every day and love it...glad it was made available.

Before the beginning of 2014, this was a very high quality app. Then it because useless because it kept crashing upon startup. Fast forward to September 2014, and it works again. While it looks slightly dated compared to the new NFL for Windows 8 app, it seems to be more functional for my needs, including able to follow 2 teams instead of 1.

I love the idea of NFL Mobile and the fact that you can watch a football game on your mobile device. Now works on Windows 8.1.
