I would suggest adding a short description of each element, such as what it is used for, who discovered it, descriptive details, etc. It would also be nice to be able to click the series icons on the homepage to show information about each series.

Very cool app and very interactive! Excellent layout of information. As an engineer, it has great utility for me. I would think it equally useful for education.

The densities of at least some of the gases in this app are inaccurate. The density of chlorine is listed as 3.214 grams per cubic cm. Really? Chlorine gas is more dense than water????? The actual density of Chlorine is 3.214 grams per liter. Inaccurate information in a scientific reference is inexcusable Should be a zero star app. The latest update has corrected the inaccuracies. This is a great app for information on the elements. The links provided add a lot more.

This is a very well made application and the creator added a lot of very nice details such as changing the background when you open an element. It also displays pictures of each element while providing a plethora of relevant information. Overall a very good program. Also it's very helpful to be able to search for an application!
15 March 2014
Very helpful for my chemistry hw :)
14 December 2013
I have only one request. Give us the option of seeing atomic mass listed in the table itself so we don't have to click into an element to see that info.
Update: That feature now available. App is perfect for its intended use.
18 March 2014
This app is really useful for my chemistry class. One suggestion that would be great for this app is to add the group numbers.
25 June 2013
Beautiful app. Very useful. True to the metro design and pleasing to the eye. The developer has done a wonderful job compiling the information and organizing it so. I supported the dev and paid to remove ads. Well done.
18 January 2013
I would like to see information on the series if you click them; eg. clicking "halogen" would bring up information on the noble gasses. Some elements are missing from the snap panel, most notably Na. Also, more information would be nice, like showing the progression of electronegativity across the table.
13 October 2012
Some most important properties -- atomic mass and valence are not shown on main page. I have realized that I can click on each element to get detailed info, but it's a table and major properties have to be on main/table page.
11 February 2015
I'm a chemical engineering student, and this app is perfect for everything that I need it to be. Very user friendly interface, with all the information that I would expect to find in a periodic table. I would recommend it to any chemistry student, or anyone who needs a convenient periodic table.
30 March 2013
Thank you guys for this beautiful, simple app! Really great! Helped me a lot :-)
27 March 2013
I improve my learning, but electron arrangement of the element is necessary and this is one of the greatest education app I've met ever :)
27 October 2012
I love the fact, that within the first day of installing windows 8, that I already have a periodic table app. I really hope that science, technology and education apps become the big attraction for windows devices. Great job!
11 April 2014
This is a great reference table with comprehensive information. I give it 5 stars.
2 March 2014
I rather like the fact this table contains so much information on each of the elements, it is a shame that it does not contain other elements of the area pertaining to chemical balancing. or how to write a formula. But other than that its been of great help.
22 April 2013
But it needs to have the option of showing atomic mass on the main table.
31 December 2012
Easy to use and gives you much information.
22 August 2013
Full of info, great app, no problems, thumbs up for developer. :)
20 August 2013
This is one of my favorite Windows 8 apps. Really, it is. It does its job elegantly and effectively, which I can't say for all that many apps found in the store. Not to mention it actually being really useful.
Kudos to you.
7 March 2013
Nice, but there is a 2 second delay loading the photo's and background image after clicking an element.
18 January 2013
I would love to see tile updates like news related to elements, interesting pictures, topics, etc.
22 December 2012
This is a beautiful, sleek and informative app on elements.
23 November 2012
I would like if this app had the discovery dates and names of the people who discovered them. Otherwise, the app is great.
21 November 2012
What do you expect a periodic table app to do? Give you a periodic table. This does that. But it doesn't stop there. Not only does it give you every imaginable fact about that element when you hit it (except, however, electronegativity, which is probably there though I can't see it) but if there is something else it has several links to places like Wikipedia for MORE information. It also gets images of the element and stylishly makes them the backgrounds of the app. Very pretty. Very functional.
21 October 2012
Latest update appears to have added in-app advertisements. Uninstalled.
20 August 2012
although I wish it's possible to print from the app......
also, seems like a good idea to link the groups ("halogens", "noble gas") in the table's legend to respective webpages explaining what they are, for further educational value.
8 January 2015
add periodic table of videos link for each elements.. http://www.periodicvideos.com/
5 March 2014
This app is great! Helps me out alot. But add a feature to zoom in. Otherwise great app!
3 October 2013
As a chemistry teacher, I find this table very useful. It has so much more information, information I use in the classroom, than a typical PT. For it to be truly useful as a teaching tool, however, it needs a zoom feature. I use my Surface RT and a projector to as powerful teaching tools. The text on this app is too small to use in this regard.
