This is a simple but very good app. I have really wanted something that works just like an old school notebook and this is it. Whenever I need to write something down its quick and easy to pop this open and take the note. Its not One Note which I use all the time but for what it does its great.

Hopefully Microsoft continues to update this. The pinch to zoom and panning with a touch screen is finicky at best.

It work's fairly well, but here are a few issues I had with it after playing with it for ~10 minutes. 1) It only seems to work in landscape. Not sure why they limited it this way. Every notebook i've ever seen was used in portrait. 2) You can't add text or type onto a page. It seems to be purely a writing/drawing app, not really a replacement for OneNote (like I was hoping) 3) Each notebook can only have one type of paper in it. I get that they wanted it to feel like it was actually a notebook, but come on let us just have different types of paper in a single notebook. 4) Your notebooks are stored on the hard drive rather than in the cloud, so if I want my notebooks to be in sync across all my devices I have to fiddle with onedrive to get it all set up. This isn't as big an issue since you can't really use it as a note taking app like OneNote, but it'd be nice to have. Otherwise It's pretty great.
