I just installed and sent a test sentence for myself. Going back into it, I couldn't make corrections. What am i missing?

It's really cool. I can write what I want to- whenever I want! It gives me prompts (basically it gives you topics or ideas to write about). It get's my mind rolling. It has Spell Check, Bold, Italicized, and Underlined options (just right click when in a prompt).
*You CANNOT go back and edit something once you have clicked the checkmark* FYI.
You can Backup and Restore, have a passcode on Writr, and each time you click Prompts it gives you different topics to choose from.
Really a very good app! Must have!
5 October 2015
I looove this app! It has helped me learn how to journal more often by giving my prompts to use when I can't think of anything to write and showing the days I used the app on the calendar. I was able to develop my journaling habit which has helped with my anxiety quite a bit. Love this app!
1 October 2015
I absolutely love this app. Could maybe use more prompts.
7 August 2015
it's a great app with a great concept, though it could use some improvements. But, everything can improve. I think it would be cool if there was a page with the 7 different branches of living and you could track how you have improved over time on each subject.
25 July 2015
Nice green title page.no frickin' idea how to get into the writr program! So green page just sits there. Certainly NOT robust, intuitive, or end user usable!
help, for I am ignorint.
Sincerely,
Don Winn - 30 year user and end user - used to build 'em!
25 July 2015
Yup its fun to answer it gets u to think bout ur day or life.
8 June 2015
The interface and mechanics is great how I wish inking would be possible for personal touches :)
4 June 2015
This app is a great way to improve your writing skills. This app is very simple and easy to use!
28 May 2015
At first, I have no idea what is this and how this work but yeah...it kinda shaping thoughts.
I love the clean appearance, and quite stable though.
20 May 2015
It's a lot like a diary. It's really fun. I recommend it for people who are always out and doing things. On this, you can write about all your experiences. Get writr today!
20 May 2015
It ask you random questions then remembers the answers? How is that helpful? The questions are not even deep. Writing is art. Art is the soul made apparent. These generic questions can only lead to generic self analysis and in my opinion limits self expression. Just get a journal and let it flow. And its a pay app??? Wow? People cant be so out of touch they need to be prompted to express themselves. Not to mention the personal info your possibly putting out there synchronization isn't even encrypted and questions read like surveys....
20 May 2015
I like the way this app asks you for help as soon as you start the app. It asks you questions that can relate to what you want to write. I like this app a lot, I recommend it for a lot of people that want to write down their daily feelings and future problems. I would give this app 10 stars if I could.
21 October 2014
I like the app and the design. I would like the ability to add a picture to a day. Sometimes I write about something and I would love to add a picture with that I wrote. Keep up the good work!!
17 October 2014
Its very simple and clean. Exactly The type of thing you want in a journaling app. As far as journaling functionality..I like the questions, but I also wouldn't might being able to turn them off/make my own titles. I know that's the point of difference that writr prides themselves on, but I want a little more control over that aspect (I don't always want to be answering a "growth" question. Maybe sometimes I just want to write about work/life?
This app lacks certain security features which would make it awesome. There is no password to open it. Your entries are stored un-encrypted so anyone could read them. The backup zip is also not encrypted or password protected(z7 AES-256 encrypt that sucker!), and you cant automatically schedule a backup. I'll buy this as soon as it has those features. Then it will be a solid 5 star app!
17 September 2014
pretty cool just stop with the intense questions other than that its great
7 September 2014
There is no way to turn off the OFFENSIVE QUESTIONS at the top of ... EVERY ... SINGLE ... PAGE.
Was this App designed by a POLICE OFFICER ???
Am I under arrest and being INTERROGATED ???
I want to TURN OFF the QUESTIONS
1 September 2014
I write in a journal on a daily basis, sometimes I write what's on my mind and sometimes I write about random things. I love the daily question feature if I'm stuck on what to write. Also, I don't have to write in a paper journal anymore. Totally worth it to buy!
30 August 2014
This app changes suggestions not just from day to day, but every time you refresh by reclicking/retouching "Today" icon... some of the suggestions can be corny and almost every one is positive... but the thought provoking ones make buying this app worth it, great for writers block!
23 August 2014
The major flaw is that when you backup your entries to a zip drive or archive the notes are not encrypted and can be view by anyone
3 July 2014
I'm glad I installed the Beta. Now I don't have to pay for it.
28 June 2014
It does what it is designed to do well. There are either a limited number of questions or the selection algorithm could use some work - I get a high number of repeated questions during a two week period.
15 June 2014
Please, include cloud backup and sync. This way we can write on multiple devices and be assured that our entries are safe.
14 June 2014
Using Writr is addictive. The thoughtful prompts have done for helping me get over the blank page and really pour myself out in writing than any other method or suggestions I've tried. I've found myself spending over an hour answering one prompt after another, and it's almost therapeutic. I find my responses going far beyond the scope of the basic question, so the prompts are really jogging things that are in my head dying to get out. It's a great feeling. Can't wait for the app to come out on Android so I can use it on the go, but it's perfect for now on my PC where I spend most of my day every day any way.
5 June 2014
Have used this app during the trial period so i may not have exhausted it.
As people have already mentioned, some backup/sync functionality of some sort would be great (maybe enable writing across devices? WP8?)
7 May 2014
Want to give it 5 stars, and could easily end up doing so. First, the app is for the most part beautifully and functionally designed. Great work to the developer(s). Very easy to use for the most part. Love the calendar view, ability to tag posts, search posts and bookmark posts. These features alone make it a very forward-thinking app, preparing it for a lot of use.
My two minor things... 1) a sync function of some kind, preferably with Microsoft login or OneDrive (just makes sense). Knowing that I have to manually export a backup, means there is a huge potential to lose entries. Glad there is a backup option for now, but please add a simple sync function. 2) For laptop/mouse use, it's a little weird, because the scrolling for the document is not on the far right like you'd expect. Instead, there is invisible space on either side of the text area which is used for right-clicking to bring up the menu from the bottom. Really the only clunky thing about the app, really.
6 May 2014
I really enjoy the functionality and ease of this app. It would be nice to get some OneDrive integration though.
26 April 2014
so far this program is run pretty, good it has a few drawbacks, it's not Dragon friendly, and I'm still looking for settings. I was told, that there's an update coming out. That will make this secure. Hope they make a Dragon friendly with a new update to.
19 April 2014
Since it is a beta I will not rate it yet. the program crashes when I make an entry and then immediately try to go to past posts. Also it seems to not want to save, it would be delightful to have a save button feature while typing. It has many good options. It doesn't have things that would make it good for a journal at the moment, that being able to save, is probably the most desirable option. Other than that it is a promising app. I hope you can have an update for this problem. A button and a auto save function, might be a great add on or a trigger save. Such as, auto save users last work when; push Alt-f4, while exiting, or display warning when closing app, not suspending it. The questions are quite enjoyable though. running on 8.1. Not too sure why its doing that. It closes randomly at times to. Exits itself. Running a Lenovo, laptop, Idea pad.
28 March 2014
Nice and simple design. Please also add cloud sync and backup.
